Designed to drench the complexion in hydration, the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream is ideal for dry or lacklustre skin types. The multifaceted face cream helps to nourish the skin’s acid mantle or skin barrier, while providing defence against everyday environmental stressors.
Formulated with a pH of 5.2, the formula features six African oils, alongside a plant ceramide complex to help protect and condition the skin. Star ingredient marula oil offers an intensive moisture boost, while a sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer works to minimise the appearance of fine lines. Rich yet lightweight, the cream promotes a fresh, brighter-looking visage.

This was my first time trying anything from Drunk Elephant - I've heard so many people rave about their products so thought I'd give them a go when the time for new moisturiser arrived. I'm a couple of weeks into using this and loving it so far. I wasn't sure about the packaging and it dispensing the amount of product for me, I was convinced it would give me loads more than I needed and I would feel like I was wasting product but thankfully that absolutely hasn't been the case for me. It gives me the perfect amount and honestly, now I don't know how I ever lived without it. I wish all my packaging did this. I really like the consistency, it's thick enough to feel really moisturising without feeling like it's coating my skin, but thin enough to soak into my skin quickly. There isn't a strong scent, clean and almost clinical but not in a bad way - it still smells nice. No, it's not a bargain but totally worth every penny in my eyes. I've definitely seen a huge improvement in my skin already and I'll definitely be trying more Drunk Elephant products!
