Holy grail moisturizer

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I absolutely love this moisturizer, wish it wasn’t so expensive, but it’s my holy grail product. Highly recommend, especially if you can find the jumbo size which should last you over 4 months.

Did the job

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Really helped with keeping my skin looking glowy & soft. You don’t need much product either to cover your entire face.  The only negatives I would say is I wasn’t keen on the design of the dispensing container, you can’t see when it’s running low. Also a bit pricey for what it is. There are cheaper products on the market which can do the same job I think.

Beautiful moisturiser- hydrating without being greasy

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I love all the Drunk Elephant products I've tried! I love that you can mix the products together for an easy routine- and this moisturiser is just beautiful- it's not too greasy or thick, hydrates and leaves a perfect base for make up- ADORE!

2 stars for the gel like texture...

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

...otherwise not ideal for oily, acne prone skin. This cream was suggested for my acne prone, oily skin but it has broken me out badly on two separate occasions now. It also leaves a strange film behind. Weirdly, DE's Lala Retro (that's been suggested for drier, sensitive skin) worked for me wonderfully in the winter months as it calmed my skin and pulled off inflammation, at the same time not breaking me out. But this Protini Polypeptide Cream was a disaster.

Lovely stuff

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is a repeat-buy for me. I use it with the matching serum. It's not heavy and luxurious, it's light and easily absorbed. It does wonders for my ageing skin which, somehow, still gets enlarged pores and the odd spot. The results aren't miraculous (when are they ever?) but there's a noticeable difference when I run out.
