Favourite face sun cream
Formula of this sun cream is by the far the best I’ve found - really hard to find a sun cream that uses zinc oxide and has good clean ingredients (by clean I don’t mean natural). Leaves a white cast but that’s to be expected with a physical sun cream - I just mix in some D bronzi. The combo leaves my skin looking glowy and hydrated

Disappointed
Really disappointed with this, other Drunk Elephant products have been great but this SPF left white residue and my skin chalky. I usually preserver but with this one it’s getting binned and another SPF bought in it’s place.

Love the glow
Really happy with this SPF as it gives a subtle glow and sits well with skincare and makeup. Only removing 1 star as it is a shame it is not SPF50

Oily white marks
For the price this is not a quality product. Leaves streaky white marks, very greasy. Will return. Drunk elephant has not impressed.

Drunk Elephant umbra sheer spf 30
I really like this spf, it gives a nice glow to the skin, yet sits well underneath my makeup. Very pleased with the fact that it does not sting my eyes! I knocked a star off, as you do have to spend some time working the sun screen in to ensure there is no white residue.

The best formula
Gone through 6 bottles of this and it’s honestly the only sunscreen I will ever purchase for my face. You will not find a physical sunscreen that competes with the formula of this. No nasty ingredients - including nasty natural ingredients other “clean beauty” companies include in their products. Such a sophisticated formula (can you tell I’m a chemistry nerd? Haha) and one of the only sunscreens that doesn’t break me out. The sunscreen has a thick consistency and leaves a slight white cast despite it being called sheer - it’s a physical sunscreen so this is inevitable to some extent. In my view a slight white caste is preferable to using a reef-damaging chemical alternative. I mix it with a pump of D-bronzi which ensures there’s no white cast and gives you a glow. Then I take a teeny teeeny amount of D bronzi and tap over high points of my face - the effect is gorgeous. Leaves me skin soft and protected. Can’t comment how foundation performs over it as I can’t stand the stuff.
