The key is knowing how to use it—don’t apply too much at once; instead, build it up slightly and slowly, taking your time to blend it evenly across your face. The result is healthy-looking, non-red skin. That said, my top favorite is still the brightening one in the purple bottle! I do wish the full-size versions came with pumps for easier application. This product lasts a long time and is perfect for a natural daytime look or a holiday glow.

This colour correcting cream is stunning. It does what it says and counteracts redness and the cream leaves a veil over your face, much like a good skin tint and you really only need a small pea-sized amount. It has spf which is great, but I will use a dedicated spf underneath in summer in order to ensure I have enough for recommended protection. I am 56, with combination skin which has some slight pigmentation and redness. This works beautifully either alone, or with a light skin tint or foundation. In addition it works well under eyes in place of a concealer and does not settle in wrinkles. I will be repurchasing in future and have already told friends about how great it works on mature skin.

I chose to try this as I was running low on my usual colour correcting primer (another brand). I was absolutely astonished by how great this is. Not only did it colour correct, but it adapted to my skin tone and gave my face a light foundation like veil. The first time I used a light skin tint over it, but next time, I did not. It even sits well under eye, so no concealer required (I don’t need much anyway). You only need a pea size amount of this, so will last a long time. It has spf but as using only a small amount, I will be sure to use a dedicated spf under it during the summer. I will be buying more of this in the future and have already raved about it to friends. I’m 56 btw, with fair, combination skin, and some pigmentation and redness. Honestly, give it a try.
