ESPA Bergamot & Jasmine Alabaster Candle 360g

A celebration of ESPA's heritage, the Bergamot & Jasmine Alabaster Candle imparts a fresh citrus and green fragrance to fill your home. The natural wax candle is housed in an elegant vessel made of precious alabaster stone that has been individually cut and polished.

Known for its aromatic properties and flavour in Earl Grey tea, bergamot is showcased alongside eucalyptus and tea tree. A heart of delicate jasmine, citrus and mint offer an uplifting fragrance, harmonised by warming pine and vetiver. Light your candle and inhale the essential oil blend as the candle emits a calming glow against the alabaster stone.

To keep your candle burning beautifully, please read our suggestions for how best to care for it. When you first light your candle, allow the flame to burn until the surface wax becomes molten and pools, leaving only a thin ring of solid wax around the inner edge of the vessel. Letting the surface layer liquify like this sets the wax’s memory and prolongs the lifespan of the candle, helping it to burn evenly rather than “tunnelling”. The time it takes for the wax to pool will depend on the size of your candle. Once the flame is extinguished, straighten and re-centre the wick. Again, this will help the candle to burn evenly. Allow the wax to harden and trim the wick so it’s between 3 and 5mm long. This prevents the flame from smoking or getting too high. When you’re not burning your candle, store it somewhere cool, using the lid we’ve provided to keep it dry and free from dust.
