How to apply Estée Lauder Double Wear
1. Prep skin by priming with a makeup primer.
2. Apply the foundation using your fingertips, a makeup sponge or a foundation brush.
3. Start by applying at the centre of your face for optimal coverage and blend outwards.
4. The foundation is buildable allowing you to apply more layers to achieve your desired coverage.
5. For more coverage, follow with Double Wear Concealer for any imperfections.

This has always been my go too foundation since I was 18(now 37). I tried so many other foundations over the years. Each year I try several different ones. But I always come back to this as no other compare. I have oily t-zone and have suffered in past with acne. Now I gave scarring and pigmentation. This foundation works for all, it has great coverage and staying power. Its oil free, so doesn't slide off. I even wear it if I go swimming, and it stays. Its a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

A decade long staple in my beauty bag
For over 10 years I seem to always come back to this one, simply because it is reliable. Flawless, matte all day perfect wear. Guaranteed. The only downsides are: Looks like a flat matte for the first 2-3 hours, then after that time it looks a lot better as natural skin oils soften it and give it a much nicer appearance. In spite of a whooping shade range, I am yet to find a shade that truly suit my light olive skin. Dawn, Natural Suede, Desert Beige are okay, but most certainly need lots of colour correcting with setting powder and bronzer, otherwise they just look off. These two reasons are why I do keep looking for my perfect foundation. I will though always keep one bottle in my makeup bag as it is the most reliable foundation I ever came across.
