Love this mascara! I’m a 52 year old menopausal woman, who used to have fake lashes. But since going through the menopause, my natural lashes started to shed quite rapidly & go a bit thin. This then caused the fake lashes to just drop off! So, back to using mascara! And I’ve tried loads to get that lush, thick, spidery look! And finally I appear to have found just that after receiving a free sample of this sumptuous extreme mascara. This mascara has a big thick brush, so if you want a dainty brush this is not for you. The mascara itself doesn’t have any kind of smell (I’m funny about smells) & it’s not clumpy! It glides on & you really can make it as thick as you want. I’m naturally fair so my lashes NEED this! I always use a lash primer first as I think this gives an added umph for the mascara to stick to. The results are impressive! I will certainly buy again.

Disappointed
Although the other reviews are positive, I didn't get on well with this mascara. The brush is, in my opinion, far too big to be practical. When the mascara was first opened I was spending as much time clearing up excess mascara from around my eye as I was putting it on! I also never usually have trouble with mascara smudging (as a contact lens wearer, I don't ever rub my eyes) and this one seems to smudge a lot! In the month or so since opening the mascara, it has quickly dried out and become quite clumpy. I now go through my lashes with a spoolie afterwards to keep them separated. Despite the above, it does give good lift without the use of curlers and lengthens the lashes really well. I just find it too much of a fuss with the above points in mind and considering how much it costs!

I love this mascara, I've been using it for a few years now. I find miles better than other luxury brands. I even tried the top selling much hyped Marc Jacobs but as soon as I finished it I turned straight back to this one. My lashes appear so long and well curled with it and the intense black is great. The only issue I have is that Estee Lauder test on animals in China, no other country requires this! I battle with my conscience to continue buying it.
