Amazing foundation
As a makeup artist, I have tried this foundation on all my clients for the past year and it is nothing short of amazing. Depending on how much you apply, the coverage is light to medium. It doesn't look cakey or heavy at all. Just healthy looking skin. All my clients have that natural olive to yellow to golden undertones so I find this brand extremely helpful. I give it 4 stars simply because when I started using this brand, the colors were limited therefore some of my clients looked slightly pink and others looked slightly dark (but its not drastic and could be fixed easily). But now that EX1 has launched a much wider selection of colors, I am very very excited to try them all because I know I won't be disappointed. Here's hoping EX1 will develop a lighter shade of concealer or maybe a translucent powder?

Awesome undertone
I purchased shade 4.0, I'm an NC25 which never matched me perfectly because of the orange undertone in it, but shade 4.0 was a little bit darker and waay more yellow, I think a shade 3.0 would have been perfect, but it's a very subtle difference, but let me tell you, this foundation looks flawless and natural, the coverage is a medium not even sheer, it doesn´t look cakey, it accentuates dryness but with a good moisturizer will do, it doesn't last more than 6 hours but that's totally fine, for the price, the color and the result it gives make it so worth it, I've found my every day foundation. it is a natural finish but throughout the day looks dewier.

Fantastic for pale skin ONLY if oil is mixed into it
When I first got it, I found it to be one of the worst foundations I ever bought. When I first applied it, it separated massively on my face within minutes, clung to dry patches, and really moved around. I wear glasses and the combo of it moving under my glasses + separating meant my nose looked awful. Because it was so raved about, I tried everything I could to make it work. I tried it with tonnes of different primers and nothing worked, although Nivea mens aftershave balm was the best. However, when I added 1 drop of oil into the foundations it completely changed and is an AMAZING lightweight foundation that lasted well all day and looked like skin. It doesn't layer well though, so anyone needing heavy coverage should look elsewhere. I'm only giving it 3 stars though because the foundation on its own isn't that good, and needs to be played around with. I got shade 1.0, which matched well, but it could be a little yellower. In terms of colour, I'm extremely pale, with olive, strong yellow undertones. For comparison, I also can wear Revlon Colorstay in Buff, Japonseque foundation in 01, MUFE ultra HD in 117, Bourjois foundations in 51, and Mac mineralise foundation in NC15 (but none of the other NC15s in Mac because they're much darker than Mac mineralise).

Such a good foundation
For the money the foundation is amazing, it's coverage is excellent. Colour a bit off as I brought one and it's very pale so next time I will go up but it's still amazing. I'd say it only usually lasts till dinner time and if you want flawless you will need to apply a few coats but it's brilliant.

Too dark
I bought the shade f400 but it was way too dark for me. I am a nc44 in Mac and Tahoe in Nars. On the colour chart reference f400 was compared to Mac nc42 which I totally disagree. The texture was amazing though so silky and lightweight, felt like I had nothing on. Now that the new shades have launched i will be ordering the lighter shade (11.0) and see how that goes.

Fab foundation
I was delighted to see they had brought out paler shades so I ordered the palest one as I'm naturally very pale. It's such a perfect match and such a lovely foundation to wear gives good build able coverage and depending on your skin type and if you set it with powder of not it gives a fab glow My only downfall was it did go quite shiny on my t-zone very quickly and I do have to powder alot but I can live with that as it's defo worth the purchase!!

I've bought all five shades from when they had them for my freelance kit; now that there's more I'm contemplating on buying them all haha! The coverage is lovely, medium to buildable, not cakey at all, even if you wanted the most natural of looks this foundation does the job.
