I personally don't like the thought of walking or sitting around with my underwear full of *****, as I have particularly heavy periods so I use with a pad still and know for sure now I will not leak at all. That peace of mind is alot for someone who has heavy flows. I would definitely recommend trying them out atleast. They are soft and comfy too
