The straighteners are heated at 185°C for optimum styling, any higher would damage the hair while any lower would compromise the styling effects. The floating plates offer an ultra-smooth appearance, while the round barrel helps for snag-free styling, creating bouncy curls, soft waves or poker straight ends with ease. Ensure hair is dry and combed through. Divide the hair into sections ready for styling. Turn the appliance on. Place a section of hair between the straightening plates, close to the roots. Hold the hair firmly between the straightening plates and slide down the length of the hair, from root to tip. Repeat. Allow the hair to cool before combing through. After use, turn off and unplug the appliance. Allow the appliance to cool before storing away.

I had these years ago, my 1st pair of ghds but of course in time we always upgrade, I did and got the ghd gold, they were good but I just felt like they weren't as good as the originals so I always wanted to go back to them. I took the plunge with a great sale on and got them again. I have quite frizzy shoulder length curly hair so I did half with the ghd gold and the other half with the original and I must say the original just did a better Job and stayed for longer aswell. I would highly recommend these to anyone, easy to use, light and just leaves your hair sleek and smooth. Will keep the gold ones for a back up but don't buy things just cause they're pricey and think they do a better job, it's just not the case sometimes. I also had the dyson airwrap and yes the curls were lovely but got the same curls with these straighteners and they lasted alot longer aswell so with that the airwrap was swiftly sent back.
