Worth the money
I know these are on the pricier side but they really are worth it in my opinion. I've had these straighteners for 3 years and they are still just as good as new. I've just bought a new pair as a gift for my mum and she absolutely loves them. Can't go wrong with them - they straighten your hair really easily, no need to go over the hair more than once and they're super sleek

Had these for a while now and can say I absolutely love them. Have noticed a big difference in my hair (having been straightening my hair every day for years with cheap straighteners) I finally treated myself and have seen a big difference in the texture and appearance of my hair. Love my GHDs
Bought these to replace my 13 year old ones that had come to the end of their life. Some people have said the new ones are not as good as the old ones, but I disagree. These are better, I love them. Love the heat protector cover. They heat up super quick and are very easy to use, they glide so easily.

GHD platinum plus
I’ve had my GHD hair straighteners for twenty years and although they still worked the technology was old and they were damaging my hair causing breakage. After many weeks of research and advice from my hairdresser I took the plunge and bought the GHD platinum plus. They were on sale and the same price as the GHD gold so made sense to get the latest technology despite reading some reviews that said they weren’t worth the money . I have medium length , fine , frizzy , damaged hair. The difference these straighteners have made is huge. I don’t need to keep going over my hair with them as they straighten with one pull through. They glide through my hair and don’t tug or catch the hair which I know some people say they do . They are leaving my hair smooth , straight and shiny . My hair stays straight all day which it didn’t with my old straighteners. My hair is no longer breaking off . I don’t see the point of the wishbone hinge. I feel that is a bit of a gimmick but I would highly recommend the platinum plus. I only straighten my hair. I do not curl it so I cannot say how good they are for that .
