I found this item to be a bit large for travelling - although there is space to add other hair tools (brush,clips, comb and heat spray all fitted in mine with ease - but given I would use for travel just a bit too large especially If you just have a weekend bag - lovely quality tho!

the heat mat is the ideal item to protect furniture when you use the warm straightner, it is completely separable from the case. the case has a separator inside and it is useful to protect che iron from the plug. I'm satisfied by this ghd styler carry case + heat mat
