Can’t be without it
Love this stuff. It’s been a repeat purchase for me over the last few years, nothing does the job better. It’s a very silky feeling conditioner, adds a lot of calm to the frizzy bits of my hair, especially in winter, so I’m reaching for it a lot right now. I’ve tonnes of very fine wavy 2b+2c hair that looks very thick but doesn’t like a lot of product weight. As an example, I can usually use one lightweight product like a mousse for styling. Otherwise it just goes flat and my waves vanish, no matter what technique I try. I don’t use this with the shampoo as it’s too heavy for me. Instead I use Camille Rose Lavender Cleanse, and together I always get a good wash day. It doesn’t weigh my hair down and gives a really good, deep condition. Lovely stuff, can’t fault it.

This conditioner does soften my hair and make it easy to detangle; however, it’s a bit too heavy for my fine hair so it weights it down and can make it look greasy which I don’t like. Might be better for someone with thicker hair!

Great for curly hair
I haven't found a conditioner as good as this for my curly hair. I use it as a wash and it leaves my hair really smooth and also encourages the curl. My hairdresser told me she hasn't seen my hair in such good condition since I started using it. Highly recommended

Good for damaged hair
I used the Smooth as silk shampoo and conditioner many years ago and loved them. Back then, these products really worked wonders for my damaged hair. I wanted to try them again, but did not find them as great on my now healthy, virgin hair. I have been following the curly girl method for over two years and have cut off all the damaged bits. So, on my hair today, this conditioner is ok, but it was wonderful on my damaged non-CGM hair years ago.

I really like this conditioner it has a great amount of slip and leaves my hair feeling lovely and soft. I think this is the best conditioner I’ve ever used agrees with my thick wavy hair perfectly. My only down side is I wish I could get a hold of the bigger bottles as it disappears pretty fast when you have a lot of hair!

The most loved hair conditioner! I have not found any better alternative on market. It is natural/eco but feels like a “normal” one and the result is perfect! I have long straight-ish thin coloured hair. And, yes, afterwards they are literally “smooth as silk”. Recommend! P.S. I use this Conditioner in combination with Smooth As Silk Shampoo but can’t say that Shampoo is the best in the world, although good enough.
