Givenchy opens a new Rouge chapter with the L'Interdit Rouge Ultime Eau de Parfum, a fragrance for women who wish to embark on a new level of sensuality.
The daring opening takes a risk with accords of fresh neroli and orange blossom, establishing a citrus beginning but interrupted by sambac jasmine. At its core, tuberose and cocoa shell seduce the fragrance, intertwining for an irresistibly rich heart. Elements of the earth inspire the base with a bouquet of musky patchouli which mingles with evergreen ambroxan and luxurious vetiver.

Strong but nice scent
I received this perfume to review, I havent purchased a Givenchy perfume before but now i think i will be! The scent lasts all day, it is quite a heavy scent to put on in the morning, much more of an evening/going out scent. Really nice rich smell. I also received a sample of the original perfume with this and it is much lighter and more suited to 'all day' wearing. Thanks lookfantastic!

Very sexy but not for everyday!
I really like this fragrance. However, it's not your everyday scent. It's a bit intense at first with a strong hint of neroli and jasmine (definitely more floral) and a bit spicy from vetiver and patchouli, but it then transitions to the depth of a slight cocoa smell I'd say. At the end of the day I got some hints of amber, cocoa and patchouli, lasts very long on the skin!

Rouge Ultime
I received the eau de parfum Rouge Ultime to try. Firstly, I loved the bottle feel and colour. One of the first notes I could smell was the Tuberose Bubble Gummy smell many people have mentioned. After a while the Jasmin becomes dominant. It is the base notes that I prefer. Tobacco stays even after a shower. Amarige used to be my perfume for many years and I could smell some similarities mixed with a bit of sweetness. I think this is one of the perfumes that always smells like perfume on me and does not really becomes part of my skin like the Chanel perfumes do. But if you like bold, sweet and warm perfumes, you would like this one. I received a 10 ml sample of L’interdit eau de parfum, along with this one to try. I much prefer it. It smells light and clean. Choosing a perfume for myself is very subjective. I often find it easier to decide if I really like a scent when I smell it on other people. That’s why I just tried it on my husband :)) Pending…
