Never had a lip primer before so it's difficult to write a review. I find this one amazing but maybe they all are. This one works amazing with lip balm and lip gloss but I don't use lip sticks so can't comment. It makes my lips look a bit fuller and more plump and feel moisturised. It makes the lip gloss stick to my lips rather than just sit on them. And it definitely makes me eat less lip balm and lip gloss. For me 10 out of 10
