No-transfer technology lies at the heart of this new formula offering 24 hours² infallible hold and a luminous matte effect with a velvety feel. Due to its high density short bristles, the Parure Gold Skin kabuki brush¹ makes the application technique easier. Simply apply the foundation directly to the brush, then blend in circular motions from the centre of the face outwards to apply the texture.

I was really hesitant to purchase this as it is labelled as being matte and I have really dry skin , but the colour match looked so good I thought I would risk it and I am so glad I did ! I have tried foundations in several brands and finally settled with this. It's not heavy to the skin makes my face look very natural. It provides a perfect soft glow.

5 star quality but beware of shades
I used to wear the previous gold bottle version of this and I was shade 1 normally and shade 2 in the Summer. I recently bought the new matte version in shade 1N but it was a shade too dark, so I tried it in 0.5N but that was a shade too light. I then tried 1W but that was too dark golden so I have resorted to mixing 0.5N and 1N together. Although this makes it very expensive I think it's worth it because it is incomparably superior to any other high end foundation I have tried. It also wears for a full day on my oily skin unlike the gold bottle version. I also love how it smoothes the look of my skin and makes it appear lifted, with a subtle radiance and keeps my skin hydrated all day. I have never found a foundation that can do all of these things before, it is absolutely stunning. I would recommend getting colour matched if you can, sadly I don't have a Guerlain counter where I live so that wasn't possible. It also oxidises after around 5 minutes on the skin so allow the time for it to settle before deciding on the shade for you.
