Not what I expected
I was happy to support a brand that is trying to create a lipstick using more natural and safer ingredients than other brands. I was attracted to the colours and indeed the one I bought was gorgeous. Sadly I found it hard to apply on my lips and markedly less smooth tan other lipsticks that I have. Also, although the stain lasted a long time, the upper coat came off almost immediately.

I have already written a review for this lipstick in the shade Solar and forgot to mention the other shades that I have. The other shades are.Isotope, which is a light bright bubblegum pink and Asteroid, which is a true red. I really like Illamaqua lipsticks , they are richly pigmented and such fantastic quality.

I purchased the shade Solar, which I a bright pinky coral . The lipstick is fabulous , great quality, richly pigmented , long lasting , comfortable.. although matte it is not.as drying as a liquid matte lipstick, any dryness can counteracted by.using a bit of balm over, or under the lipstick. Tha packaging is sleek and expensive looking. At the price I paid the value is outstanding for such a quality lipstick. I don't usually wear coral, orange or brown toned shades , but this shade is fairly pink and I really like it on me. Recommended .

Lovely consistency
I really like the consistency of these lipsticks, they apply smoothly and with good pigmentation. Due to the satin finish they don't last as long as a matte lipstick, but they are very comfortable to wear and easy to re-apply. :)

Initially it settled into the lines on my lips, but now I always apply a lip balm first and there are no more problems. It lasts very well on lips even when I first apply the lip balm. I love the packaging, too.
