With a lightweight gel formula, the unique primer blends on effortlessly to deliver a luminous, natural-looking glow, whilst maintaining moisture levels to prevent dryness. Prior to foundation application, use the spoon provided to apply one scoop to the palm of your hand. Using a foundation or highlighter brush, gently brush the product from your hand and apply all over the face until fully absorbed.

Best primer ever!!
I received this in my lf box and WOW! It's the best primer ever. I'm 46 and can say it's made me more confident about my skin, and about myself as a whole. It's great to apply, and gives such a smooth finish. Will be buying the full size!

Drying glow
I received this one with my Beauty Box and got so excited - it has a gel like consistency and the glow was amazing! However, after a couple of minutes of applying it on my face (and half back of the hand to test it out) it left this very very dried effect on my skin. I even applied my YSL Touche élact blur primer on the other half of my hand and the difference was major - the YSL one was waaaaaay more smooth and soft while the ILLAMASQUA was dry dry dry. Amazing glow so quite disappointed!

Beyond veil primer
I have the clear primer in this range so I thought I'd try the colour one. Its not a coverage but gives skin a lovely glow. Make up sits on skin and looks amazing. I am 60 and I wouldn't be without this. Makes a big difference to the end finish.

The finest Primer
Soooo I’ve tried a lot of primers in my time. A lot. Many are still languishing half empty upon shelves in the cupboards in my bedroom and fall on my husband when he dares go looking for something he thinks I might have hidden, silly man. Upon a whim I decided I would I try this one. Well I lie. It wasn’t really a whim, I had an offer from my three mobile app which gave me a discount code and I couldn’t really refuse so I awaited with baited breath. I do love illamasqua for its understated elegant packaging anyway, and the fact it’s not tested on animals so this is a big big plus for me. Additionally I had a sample of the regular veil primer in either my LF advent calendar or subscription box around Christmas and this was very lovely so I knew I’d probably like it. And I didn’t. I LOVED it! Never before has my skin looked so, well, erm, photoshopped! I’m incredibly blessed to have really good skin and haven’t shown my age yet but just lately stress and illness have taken their toll and I can’t say I was looking marvellous, but this definitely made a difference! The confidence I had having used this primer cannot be understated. I purchased some samples of illamasqua foundation and used this on top (although I think it would be perfect with any foundation to be fair) and the result was beautiful. I didn’t need to use any powder. My face stayed in place ALL day. Yes ALL day. I didn’t even use a spray to fix it. And it still looked good at 11.30pm when i reluctantly washed it away. Underneath my skin was dewy fresh. My husband is now watching me empty out my secret shame cupboard of all my previous primer purchases. My friends say they will gladly relieve me of them. They are welcome. I’m an illamasqua convert!

Fantastic product
Just bought this after reading a magazine that had given it raving reviews. This is hands down THE best primer I have ever used. Foundation stays put on top of it but the best thing about it is that I can use the primer and actually not have to wear anything on top! Im lucky not to have problem skin so don't need heavy coverage so this primer is brilliant as an everyday make up. It glides on and only a small amount is needed to achieve a healthy dewy glow. Absolute adore it!
