Bois de Cedre by Karl Lagerfeld is a pure joy! Very bright, positive, airy, fresh and attractive. What really makes me fall in love with Bois de Cedre is that the whole composition gives me sense of formal and very elegant, stylish aroma, but at the same time it's very uplifting and carefree. This is not typical fresh-sweet summer scent. Imagine Terre d'Hermes, but more younger, summery and casual. I think the lack of pepper and vetiver makes Bois de Cedre very transparent and bright. And with added perfect dose of salt note and violet leaf - mmmm - pure heaven! But it's not aquatic or sea/oceanic type of summery scent. If you could take the typical Terre mix: grapefruit, geranium and cedar and add some salt and fresh violet leaf - you could picture the main idea of Bois de Cedre - fresh, aromatic, ozonic, elegant. Bravo Karl Lagerfeld - this new scent is very good new addition!
