This produce is fantastic. I have been using it a few months and am already onto my second pot. I have very frizzy, unruly and undefined curls. I gently squeeze some of the water out of my hair when it's wet and apply this all over. When it dries, I am left with soft bouncy curls. Never had any problems with white flakes and when my hair is fully dried the crunchyness goes away.

5***** product!!! I love it!!! After looking for reviews on the best hair curl defining product, this one came up top in my price range, so I gave it a try and its fab!! The key is to make sure your hair is wet through every strand, but not sopping wet or it will take hours to dry!! I found running fingers through hair whilst wet, letting dry naturally until a bit crispy! And then blow drying hot, preferably with diffuser and lightly scrunchin to soften the curls so it doesn't look like you have product on, just drying very quickly not messing too much with hair and voila, the perfect spiral curls. It has a lovely coconut smell and unlike other mousses etc it hasn't left me with sore scalp or rash on my back even after a whole week of wearing. It lasts a long time too, I highly recommend this product! Also recommend look fantastic as it was delivered very fast to me and packaged well, thankyou for an excellent service!

I have very dry unruly curls that require (or used to require!) a conconxion of products to tame. Now all I need is my big pot of defining custard combined with my pot of custard cream. I apply both products to my dripping wet hair and allow to dry naturally and I am left with defined, soft , bouncy (and amazing smelling) curls. The next day if they need a refresh, I wet my hair and reapply just a small of ammount of this product to revive and redefine them,

the best ever!
Having tried dozens of hair products over the years but this is by far the best for curly hair. it is easy to use, amazing value. My hair is normally moderately curly, but can be dry. now it is bouncing with shiny curls, which stay until i need to wash it again. best of all, i can leave it to air dry and still get diffuser effect curls. I can't recommend it highly enough!!

THE BEST product for curly hair
After years of spending a fortune on hundreds of different products, for my naturally tight curly (prone to frizz) hair (almost afro), I have finally found THE PERFECT STYLING PRODUCT!!! I use this contrary to instructions on dry hair after a combination of air drying then lightly drying at the roots with a hairdryer. I use it as a finishing product rubbed in palms & evenly raked through my thick coarse curly hair, & wow no frizz just well behaved defined no frizz curls. Leaves my hair shiny & not crispy. A truly fantastic product & great value on look fantastic website. Thankyou so much for solving years of trying to get my hair how I want it.

I like it...but
I'm still unsure about this defining custard... A big big plus is it does what it promises; it DEFINITELY defines my curls and for that I give it an A+. The problem I have though, is that it leaves my hair a little stiff, which I'm not a fan of. For that reason I had to stay in the neutral 3-star zone with this one.
