Revive dull, lack lustre hair with Kérastase Aura Botanica Bain Micellaire Shampoo, a gentle, aromatic formula from the brand's natural haircare collection.
Utilising 96% natural origin ingredients, including responsibly sourced Samoan Coconut Oil and Moroccan Argan Oils, the nourishing micellar shampoo gently yet effectively cleanses away dirt and impurities; it transforms into an airy lather and is naturally coloured by caramel pigments.
Infused with Sweet Orange Essential Oil, the shampoo will expertly cleanse tresses whilst imparting an aromatic scent. Hair is protected against frizz and looks nourished, three times shinier and re-energised.
96% naturally derived formula.
Free from silicones, sulphates and parabens.
Apply the shampoo to wet hair, massage well to release its rich, airy lather and aromatic fragrance. Rinse well. Perform two shampoos before proceeding to Soin Fondamental.
After the shampoo, the hair will have a natural touch to it, slightly stiff, this is to be expected. Do not worry, this sulfate-free, silicone-free shampoo’s natural origin surfactant agents and Coconut Oil base gently yet efficiently cleanse hair. When using the Bain Micellaire, always use Soin Fondamental after.

Not good
I'm a big kerastase fan!! But not a fan of this shampoo!!! It doesn't foam or lather well and my hair felt horrible afterwards? I'll stick to the discipline or volume shampoo for now on.. It does smell nice but disappointed with how it felt afterwards.

Doesn't do what a shampoo is supposed to do
This shampoo was a huge disappointment. It's like Kerastase doesn't know how to do a shampoo without parabens and silicones. It doesn't foam very much which is not necessarily an issue. But even though I rinse and repeat, it's hard to tell if it cleaned my hair sufficiently. And it doesn't! When my hair has dried, my top layers look perfectly fine but the bottom layer roots are greasy mess. I thought that maybe it was something else I used, like conditioner, but even if I put conditioner only on my ends, it still got greasy around my roots. Never experienced anything like this before. Don't recommend, especially for fine hair.

So all the bad reviews here really made me hesitant about this product. I've been looking at it for months before I finally decided to buy it. It smells lovely, but I like when in just smell fresh and not to heavy cause I don't want my hair to smell like a perfume bottle. It made my thick curly (Scandinavian) hair feel really clean. I also used the conditioner and I was abbot scared it would leave my hair feeling heavy. But I was wrong. I haven't used it that much, since I just bought it. But so far so good!

I know Kérastase products are highly-regarded. The range was on offer. I like trying new products. So the shampoo and conditioner went straight into my basket. Then they came out again. Then in again, then out again, before I finally took the plunge. And I’m very pleased I did. I dithered partly because of a negative review [I think there was only one review when I ordered] and partly because of the shampoo’s description [natural touch - ie, slightly stiff. I wondered if this was the price to be paid for being sulphate-free]. However, I love using these products and feel that they are doing my hair good. It feels soft and shiny and healthy. I love the smell - it’s a treatment in itself. I even love the sight of the shampoo bottle – its serious-brown colour and its shape are really pleasing. I have fine curly/fluffy coloured hair, and wash it every morning after a sweaty workout at the gym. I put on a hefty blob of conditioner [full of fine oils] and sit in the sauna for 5 mins before rinsing it out. Then I just towel dry and go. I used to add a couple of drops of Moroccan oil, but no longer feel the need. Any “slightly stiff” feeling after washing is immediately offset by the fine oils in the conditioner. These two products need to be used in conjunction, and I would guess that the negative reviewers have not followed the shampoo with the conditioner. My only reservation is a fear of leaving these products at the gym. I know they would not get handed-in.

Disappointing for Kerastase
This dries out my hair and definitely need.a conditioner. I guess if you used it with the matching conditioner it would be fine. Better Kerastase shampoos available. Wouldn't be repurchasing.

Buyer beware!
I currently use the only other sulphate free shampoo that Kerastase produce and that is so rich I don't need a conditioner. I thought this would be a nice alternative but I have only used it once and my hair was like straw and I couldn't get my tangle tease through it. Eventually when dry it looked nice but I can't go through that procedure again. It didn't help that I tried to call Kerastase and held the line for 40 mins without anyone picking up.. I would love to know what the answer is. I have just ordered the matching conditioner but will not be trying again until I manage to speak to a Kerastase Rep.
