Replacing traditional shampoo in your haircare routine, the Kérastase Energising Scrub offers deeply purifying and detoxifying effects for your scalp and hair. The energising scrub targets pore-clogging impurities on the scalp, ideal for those prone to oiliness and dandruff.
The formula is fortified with sea salt and salicylic acid, delivering exfoliating properties to help lift build-up, pollution particles and excess oil. Applying as an exfoliating scrub and melting into a whipped cloud-like texture when lathered, the scrub leaves hair feeling refreshed and voluminous.
On wet hair only, start gently applying a walnut-size amount on the scalp (on the top, on the temples, on the crown and on the nape). Gently massage the scalp, add water to the scalp from time to time to help the product to create a thick lather. Rinse thoroughly.

This worked great for my oily hair yet flaky and itchy scalp which I always get around my hairline and the back of my head. Usually I have to wash my hair twice a week and by the time the 3rd day comes around my head would be itchy, flakey and a bit oily. I wanted to see how far I can push it, I have gone 5 days without washing my hair!! And I only started to get flaky and itchy scalp on the 4th day. Not only that but my hair still looked fresh by the 5th day which for me this has never happened in my life! The only thing I was surprised by was the tingling feeling I didn't know that was gonna happen. My scalp felt so squeaky clean too. It also has a great lather and though it says to use it as a shampoo and that's it, I still used my regular shampoo afterwards as a 2nd shampoo and hair mask. I feel like this could be a game changer especially for somebody who struggles with an oily and flaky scalp at the same time
