Kérastase’s Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant Shampoo is a clarifying formula that helps to minimise the risk of breakage and hair fall. Ideal for weak, brittle hair, the shampoo gently cleanses the lengths of impurities and excess oils, while leaving strands feeling stronger and fuller.
The formula is fortified with a blend of edelweiss native cells and ginger root to encourage the illusion of thicker-looking hair. Enriched with Aquaxyl for an added moisture boost, the shampoo promotes a lustrous glossy appearance.
- Recommended Amount: A coin-sized amount.
- Application: Wet hair and remove excess water before applying a small amount of shampoo onto the hair. Add water and emulsify.
- Routine: Rinse and repeat.
- Edelweiss Native Cells: A floral extract believed to visibly improve hair density

So bad
This Shampoo was the first I tried of this brand and omg it’s the worst. It made my hair fall out MORE. I wouldn’t recommend buying if you already have thin hair. Cos this shampoo will make it even more thinner !!!!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND !

DO NOT BUY
I bought this along with the conditioner. The smell is overwhelming and very strong. Due to it containing Sodium Laureth Sulfate my hair is dryer then it was before and i also have a rash all down the left side of my neck. This is a common reaction to this chemical and is easily found on google. Save your money

Not great for me
I personally did not like this product. I bought the whole range (every single item) following research and reviews. The shampoo is ok, as any other shampoo, but I noticed no difference in regards to hair loss. I have been using Nioxin for years and was looking for something to change but the results cannot compare. I felt the shampoo was too drying. I am using it as a first wash (to finish it) and then back to my nioxin. Quite disappointed as i have used Kerastase before and I was satisfied.

Hair shampoo and mask
This is not as described on the reviews I have seen, it’s an expensive product and the reviews all make out that this works so well when losing so much hair when washing! I have been using this for a while now and seen no difference at all I use it with the mask too which was also expensive and it doesn’t work! Very disappointed and feel out of pocket because so really believed this would work! I wouldn’t waste your money
