Kérastase’s first pre-shampoo hair treatment, suitable for all hair types, removes excess calcium and helps visibly repair all types of damaged hair. This includes damage by heat tools, colour treatment, bleaching, over-processing and other types of hair damage.
Calcium in water can further damage already delicate over-processed or bleached hair. Being more porous, damaged hair can absorb up to 3 times more calcium than natural hair. This hair treatment is formulated with a concentration of 8% pure citric acid and glycine and has a dual action: it decalcifies hair from this calcium overdose and works to repair its appearance, helping to visibly restore hair strength and reverse its stiff, dull appearance. Once excess calcium is removed, this product which is formulated with the amino acid glycine, works to deeply repair the feel of strands. Hair is left stronger, healthier-looking, and shinier – as if renewed.
- When to Use: Before shampooing.
- Application: Apply generously onto wet lengths. Massage throughout. Leave on for 5 minutes. Don’t rinse.
- Routine: Layer with the Kérastase Première Decalcifying Repairing Shampoo, then rinse out both. Finish with the Première Decalcifying Repairing Conditioner as the final step.
- Citric Acid: An organic acid that neutralises dullness and stiffness by removing calcium overdose
- Glycine: An amino acid that helps to visibly repair and reduce breakage

Great!
I have never used a whole hair set like this and I have to admit I was very impressed! I loved how soft it made my hair but I also noticed a lot less breakage and my hair felt stronger than ever.

Amazing results
The Kérastase set was lovely, gave great shine and felt very cleansed. The only problem I had was the instructions were not very clear and meant I ended up using the pre treatment shampoo twice. The smell wasn’t the best either but feel this would be something standard for a treatment set. Bottles were a good size. Enjoyed them all once I understood what to do and how to do it and the blow dry after was a dream with less split ends and fizziness.

Pre-Shampoo Treatment
The product had a lovely smell and texture and applied to the hair really nicely. After use my hair felt shinier than normal and there was less breakage when I came to brush and heat treat it.

Best Pre-shampoo I’ve ever used
I absolutely love this pre-shampoo. I have never tried one before, I always just use the same shampoo twice. But this really stripped my hair from products/dry shampoo and oil but without making it feel dry or damaged. I will definitely use this from now on.

Lovely product, amazing fragrance
Absolutely love the smell of this, definitely my hair was way more shiny and frizz free, but I find my hair a bit more dry than usual, I would recommend to use this only once a week and alternate with something that your hair also needs. Definitely I notice a big difference.

Amazing results
I really like this pre shampoo hair treatment, ideal for my damaged hair. I have really damaged hair caused by styling tools and they are prone to breakage. This treatment helps to remove excess calcium from hairs and strengthen the hair making them stronger, healthier and beautiful. It is very easy to use. You need to apply on wet length and massage the hair leaving them for 5 minutes. You don’t need to rise and you can follow it up with the Keratese Bain Decalcifiant Reparateur Shampoo. This product is suitable for all types of hair damaged. My hair look less dull and much healthier with just few uses. It has also restored my hair’s radiance and shine, I am highly satisfied. I would definitely recommend it
