Kérastase’s first pre-shampoo hair treatment, suitable for all hair types, removes excess calcium and helps visibly repair all types of damaged hair. This includes damage by heat tools, colour treatment, bleaching, over-processing and other types of hair damage.
Calcium in water can further damage already delicate over-processed or bleached hair. Being more porous, damaged hair can absorb up to 3 times more calcium than natural hair. This hair treatment is formulated with a concentration of 8% pure citric acid and glycine and has a dual action: it decalcifies hair from this calcium overdose and works to repair its appearance, helping to visibly restore hair strength and reverse its stiff, dull appearance. Once excess calcium is removed, this product which is formulated with the amino acid glycine, works to deeply repair the feel of strands. Hair is left stronger, healthier-looking, and shinier – as if renewed.
- When to Use: Before shampooing.
- Application: Apply generously onto wet lengths. Massage throughout. Leave on for 5 minutes. Don’t rinse.
- Routine: Layer with the Kérastase Première Decalcifying Repairing Shampoo, then rinse out both. Finish with the Première Decalcifying Repairing Conditioner as the final step.
- Citric Acid: An organic acid that neutralises dullness and stiffness by removing calcium overdose
- Glycine: An amino acid that helps to visibly repair and reduce breakage

Amazing pre shampoo repairing treatment
This pre treatment repairing shampoo did wonders to my damaged hair. They went from dry, brittle to normal, soft and shiny tamed hair. I can literally keep my hair open after I shampoo them. This treatment has literally repaired my hair to the best. Highly recommend it.

A first try success
After trying this product for the first time I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The scent was a little strong at first but not unpleasant and quickly became quite nice. It was my first time using a pre shampoo treatment and it it a game changer. It really helped my hair. Having to apply then wait then Not rinse it was unusual but not hard, just something I had to keep in mind. Overall it was a great product

Better than olaplex!
I absolutely love this 3 step hair care routine. I love this pre-shampoo as it gets rid of all the grime and oils and primes the scalp and hair for an intensive wash. It stops having to shampoo twice and with extra added benefits. My hair feels already clean and repaired just on this first step alone!

New addition to my hair care routine
This was the first time adding a pre-shampoo treatment into my hair care routine. This did not disappoint and will be staying in my routine for the long term. The pre-shampoo treatment is light weight and a little goes a long way. I could really tell the difference once applying the shampoo on top afterwards. My hair already feels so much cleaner and healthier after just a few uses, I can really see and feel the difference. I'm excited to continue using the treatment and too see the health of my hair after more uses.

Lovely shampoo
I do love this shampoo. It smells amazing and my hair likes it. I have a little bit less of hair breakage and it looks more shiny now!

It really does make your hair stronger!
This pre-shampoo feels like it is doing it's job and smells good. When you add the shampoo its lathers like a dream. The only downfall, and this is picking straws, it does feel like I need to use a lot to cover all my medium length hair.

OMG! This product is freaking amazing!!!
This product is amazing! I was very sceptic before it came as never used any of Kerastase products. I washed my hair with this treatment 3 times and I can feel different in my hair. They are more clean, fresh, smells lovely and I think that my hair looks more soft! Used 3 times and this product also is very efficient! Now I can’t use normal shampoo, conditioner or any other treatments! I would love to buy this set again whenever finish.

Brilliant product!!
First of all, the packaging for this is beautiful and looks very expensive. The smell is beautiful too. The pre shampoo treatment left my hair feeling really nice, and I hadn’t even completed the next 2 steps yet! My hair is feeling stronger and shinier than ever
