Kérastase’s first pre-shampoo hair treatment, suitable for all hair types, removes excess calcium and helps visibly repair all types of damaged hair. This includes damage by heat tools, colour treatment, bleaching, over-processing and other types of hair damage.
Calcium in water can further damage already delicate over-processed or bleached hair. Being more porous, damaged hair can absorb up to 3 times more calcium than natural hair. This hair treatment is formulated with a concentration of 8% pure citric acid and glycine and has a dual action: it decalcifies hair from this calcium overdose and works to repair its appearance, helping to visibly restore hair strength and reverse its stiff, dull appearance. Once excess calcium is removed, this product which is formulated with the amino acid glycine, works to deeply repair the feel of strands. Hair is left stronger, healthier-looking, and shinier – as if renewed.
- When to Use: Before shampooing.
- Application: Apply generously onto wet lengths. Massage throughout. Leave on for 5 minutes. Don’t rinse.
- Routine: Layer with the Kérastase Première Decalcifying Repairing Shampoo, then rinse out both. Finish with the Première Decalcifying Repairing Conditioner as the final step.
- Citric Acid: An organic acid that neutralises dullness and stiffness by removing calcium overdose
- Glycine: An amino acid that helps to visibly repair and reduce breakage

Better than olaplex
This treatment is absolutely amazing! Super fast and easy to use, just wet your hair, leave 5 minutes and use the decalcifying shampoo followed by the conditioner. Unlike olaplex, which I find takes a lot longer to provide good results, I did the whole kerastase process while in the shower and got far better and longer lasting results! The results of using the 3 step process lasted a full week before I felt a difference in my hair again. It's left my hair softer, smoother, shinier, more manageable, less frizzy when I don't style it and seems to have repaired some of the areas damaged by bleaching and heat styling. It's amazing, would recommend to anyone and will definitely by buying when I've finished what I've got!

Great product!
First time I was trying a pre-shampoo treatment, actually I was more than surprised as the product is great, really easy to use it! There is no irritating smell, the texture is like a silky liquid. Highly recommend! The best part for me is than you don't have to rinse it out after applying!

Very dry hair
I was soooo exited when I received this product and this specific brand. Unfortunately it doesn't work great on my hair. After a few use, I haven't seen any changes. I read on label that first results are visible after 6 use. After 2 weeks of using this product, my hair feels like hay. Veeeeery dry, tangled and no shine at all. I'm very surprised, cuz I've heard a lot good reviews about this brand, but this product is a big no for me. The only good result is that my hair smell gorgeous after this product.

Felt my hair was stronger than before
Really good just a small amount created a really good lather which made my hair feel so clean and smooth. My hair felt so soft after use and did not get as greasy as it would after a day or two.

Amazing product
Really amazing product so easy to use and really does do what it says on the pack. The smell is also good, not over bearing at all. My hair is very hormonally damaged as well as heat - this product along with the shampoo and conditioner really have given my hair a new lease of life. It looks and feels healthier and when I brush it now I have no breakage.
