Suitable for all hair types, the Kérastase Première Decalcifying Repairing Shampoo removes excess calcium and helps visibly repair all types of damaged hair, including damage by heat tools, colour treatment, bleaching and over-processing. Calcium in water can further damage already delicate over-processed or bleached hair. Being more porous, damaged hair can absorb up to three times more calcium than natural hair.
Formulated with a concentration of pure citric acid and glycine, the formula transforms into a luxurious foam that decalcifies hair from calcium overdose, reduces breakage and visibly repairs hair. Hair is left feeling smooth, manageable and bouncy.
- Application: Apply on wet hair, layered on top of the Decalcifying Repairing Pre-Shampoo Treatment. Massage and emulsify. Rinse thoroughly.
- Routine: Follow with the Première Conditioner or Première Mask.

Strong and healthy hair
Before applying this shampoo, you have to make sure to use the pre-shampoo from this brand and then, don’t rinse the pre-shampoo but straight apply the normal shampoo. This shampoo is suppose to decalcify and repair your hair. The smell of the product was very citrusy and I was worried it wouldn’t be gentle on my scalp, however it was not harsh at all. After trying this for 2 weeks I can definitely see an improvement in my hair and my hair is healthier. I would recommend this product.

A shampoo that can revive any hair type
This shampoo smells incredible and comes in a bottle that helps distribute the right amount of product needed per use. It lathers really well and helps cleanse, nourish and rejuvenate tired looking hair. The consistency is ideal for all hair types from thin to thick and after rinsing, you can still smell the product. I found l had less hair fall out when combing after showering and I love how soft, silky and healthy my hair looked even after the first use.

My hair are much cleaner...easily manageable and soft and airy....less prone to fall and easy to combine...I am feeling they are getting life day by day...heavenly fragrance by the way

Professional quality
I love the smell and the stylish bottle. It looks expensive and high quality. You only need a little for it to lather up, I have found that my hair looks shinier and healthier and takes less time to straighten and stays straight the whole day. The instructions state to leave in for 5 minutes but with all 3 this was not feasible as 15 minutes waiting in the shower is a lot. I did find that it dried my hands out but that was the only down side.

Gentle shampoo that is great at repair
This shampoo lathers into a nice foam very easily and is very easy to work with. It cleanses really well as well as being gentle on my hair and removing residue of mineral build up. The scent is nice and subtle leaving my hair fresh and clean

Great for oily hair
I’ve been trying the pre-shampoo, shampoo and conditioner for 2 weeks now. I have a really oily scalp and my hair would usually weigh down the day after shampoo but now it usually lasts for three days and feels a lot more fresher. Wouldn’t work great for dry hair but definitely a great product for oily hair like mine. Using the three products together made my hair shinier as well, loved it overall

Effective
I trialled this alongside the pre-shampoo treatment and conditioner of the same Kérastase Première decalcifying anti-rigidity system repair range. I found it very effective and nourishing for my damaged hair. It did not leave any residue and was very easy to use on damp hair for five minutes after pre-treatment to maximise cleansing and removal of excess calcium from hair. I found this really helped remove build up on my bleached blonde hair and left it feeling smooth and more manageable with less frizz. This collection contains citric acid and glycine to repair damage. My hair was stronger, smoother and shiner after a few washes. The texture of the product is lovely and it has a delightful scent. Lovely aesthetic packaging with an easy dispensing design that allows you to control the amount of product used. Small amount of product delivers great results.
