Suitable for all hair types, the Kérastase Première Decalcifying Repairing Shampoo removes excess calcium and helps visibly repair all types of damaged hair, including damage by heat tools, colour treatment, bleaching and over-processing. Calcium in water can further damage already delicate over-processed or bleached hair. Being more porous, damaged hair can absorb up to three times more calcium than natural hair.
Formulated with a concentration of pure citric acid and glycine, the formula transforms into a luxurious foam that decalcifies hair from calcium overdose, reduces breakage and visibly repairs hair. Hair is left feeling smooth, manageable and bouncy.
- Application: Apply on wet hair, layered on top of the Decalcifying Repairing Pre-Shampoo Treatment. Massage and emulsify. Rinse thoroughly.
- Routine: Follow with the Première Conditioner or Première Mask.
- Citric Acid: An organic acid that neutralises dullness and stiffness by removing calcium overdose

Dries out my hair
I love the design of the bottle. It feels expensive and looks great on the side. The shampoo didn’t work as well as I’d hoped it to. It left my hair really tangled and stripped. Even with a pre-shampoo and a conditioner, my hair was still tangled. The scent is nice. It gives you the freshly washed salon hair smell.

Cleans to excellence
The Decalcifying Shampoo didn't lather as quickly as I was expecting but adding water it changed. After rinsing hair felt excellent cleaned and with a lovely fragrance left on. I had to wash my hair again after 3 days which was great. I did not experience any kind of itchiness and my hair stayed fresh for long. It layered well with the pre-shampoo and I believe they should always be used together. The creamy consistency and the amazing scent made my hair wash experience enjoyable.

Good shampoo with lovely smell
I found it thick and a little hard to work into a lather but a little goes a long way. I used it with the pre treatment followed by the conditioner and it does leave hair smooth, soft and with a nice fragrance. I do think that it makes my hair go greasy faster than other shampoos but having used it only 5 times it may just be a while until my scalp adjust

I love this shampoo!
I love this shampoo, I have chemically treated hair, so I gave 2 textures in my head, my relaxed hair and my coarse 4c hair, this shampoo is so creamy, thick and moisturising, after washing my hair with it I could see the difference, it's great.

Healthy hair and scalp
After using this shampoo for weeks I can genuinely say I am super impressed. I applied the pre treatment to wet hair and after 5minutes applied this shampoo directly on top and then rinsed. I noticed this combination made my damaged over-processed hair look healthier, shinier and stronger. My hair is constantly being damaged from styling with heat and hair dyes. This loving from the kerastase products is just what my hair needed. My scalp feels refreshed and clean for a change. Usually after a day or so it can get itchy and flaky due to build up but this shampoo sorted that out. I now have a healthier scalp, less hair breakage and healthier looking hair.

Good cleansing Shampoo
I felt like the shampoo really deep cleansed my hair the first time I’ve used it alongside the serum and conditioner. When dried there was no pore puffiness and my hair felt clean and smooth. Oh and the scent is fantastic
