Suitable for all hair types, the Kérastase Première Decalcifying Repairing Shampoo removes excess calcium and helps visibly repair all types of damaged hair, including damage by heat tools, colour treatment, bleaching and over-processing. Calcium in water can further damage already delicate over-processed or bleached hair. Being more porous, damaged hair can absorb up to three times more calcium than natural hair.
Formulated with a concentration of pure citric acid and glycine, the formula transforms into a luxurious foam that decalcifies hair from calcium overdose, reduces breakage and visibly repairs hair. Hair is left feeling smooth, manageable and bouncy.
- Application: Apply on wet hair, layered on top of the Decalcifying Repairing Pre-Shampoo Treatment. Massage and emulsify. Rinse thoroughly.
- Routine: Follow with the Première Conditioner or Première Mask.

Bit too much for fine hair
It was a nice nourishing shampoo, thick and creamy in texture, a very small amount was enough to make quite a lot of lather. Sadly it is a bit too much for my fine and thin hair, but it could be perfect for more dense hair types.

Kérastase Decalcifying Shampoo
I've used Kérastase Première Decalcifying System Reparative Shampoo as part of my hair wash routine and I'm very happy with it. It was created for damaged hair to remove excess calcium inside and out. It has a rich, luxurious texture and lovely smell. My hair feels like I just left a hair salon, so fresh and smooth with a shiny finish. I feel like it helped to prevent breakage as well, my hair is much stronger and healthier.

Very good lather and lightweight formula
This product is very lightweight and easy to use. It has a nice light smell and when used along side the conditioner and and pre shampoo treatment my hair smells nice. My hair felt very soft after use and had a nice shine to it. The product lathers well and cleans the scalp well. The opening of the bottle may be harder for someone who struggles with their hands especially when in the shower.

Hard to tell!
It's hard for me to tell if I think this has really changed my hair for the better/worse. It cleanses and lathers fine, and has a very nice and luxurious smell. I also like the bottle, although the cap can be a little fiddly to get back on. I am just not sure that I have noticed a particular improvement in my hair. My damage is mostly heat damage so perhaps the strength improvement would be more evident with damage from bleaching.

Brilliant!!
Absolutely love this shampoo!! Been using for about a week now and my hair has seriously never felt or looked better! The packing is beautiful too. The smell is amazing and my hair smells and looks like it’s been done in a salon.

Lovely, gentle shampoo.
This shampoo is really nice and you feel like it is cleaning your hair. Easy to massage in and it left my hair feeling soft and clean afterwards. It also smells very nice, though I can't pinpoint the scent. My hair is very flat and I found this didn't weight it down at all, just soft, luscious locks!

Amazing results !
Where do I start with this product. Not only is the packaging very eye appealing the smell is divine !. I have used this product for just over a week and I can already notice a big improvement in the health and appearance of my hair. My hair feels and smells amazing and looks like I’ve just walked out of the hairdressers, I will definitely continue to use this product along side the pre shampoo & conditioner from this collection as my hair has never felt better. Just give it a try yourself and you will definitely love the results.

First try success
After trying this product for the first time I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The scent was a little strong at first but not unpleasant and quickly became quite nice. It was my first time using this shampoo and it it a game changer. It really helped my hair. Having to apply it on top of the pre shampoo after waiting the 5 minutes was a different exprience since this was the first time i had used this along with the pre shampoo treatment. Overall it was a great product
