Suitable for all hair types, the Kérastase Première Decalcifying Repairing Shampoo removes excess calcium and helps visibly repair all types of damaged hair, including damage by heat tools, colour treatment, bleaching and over-processing. Calcium in water can further damage already delicate over-processed or bleached hair. Being more porous, damaged hair can absorb up to three times more calcium than natural hair.
Formulated with a concentration of pure citric acid and glycine, the formula transforms into a luxurious foam that decalcifies hair from calcium overdose, reduces breakage and visibly repairs hair. Hair is left feeling smooth, manageable and bouncy.
- Application: Apply on wet hair, layered on top of the Decalcifying Repairing Pre-Shampoo Treatment. Massage and emulsify. Rinse thoroughly.
- Routine: Follow with the Première Conditioner or Première Mask.
- Citric Acid: An organic acid that neutralises dullness and stiffness by removing calcium overdose

Decalcifying shampoo
So my hair needed some tlc, I decided to try this Decalcifying shampoo that you apply to the roots of your hair, applying directly on top of the Pre-Shampoo. First impressions of this product, the packaging is very and the smell is divine! When applying to the roots I found that I only needed a bit ( maybe 50p coins worth) to fully saturate as this lathered very well. I kept this on for a further 5 minutes, then rinsed throughly.

Amazing for bleached hair
Having bleached hair, a lot of shampoos that I have used have made my hair feel so dry and brittle. This is one of the only shampoos that has made my hair feel so healthy with no dryness, and also doesn't make it feel greasy! the pre-shampoo treatment enhances this product, but it still works great without it. I also found that a little goes a very long way; it seems like a super concentrated shampoo so I used less product than I normally would. I would recommend this to anyone with dry, damaged hair

Wonderful Shampoo
I loved using this shampoo. It had a super thick formula which made it so easy to use and apply and I didn’t waste any from it sliding off my hand like usual. It left my hair feeling soft and clean and I could really feel the product working to remove impurities from my scalp. I use heat tools regularly so I like to know my shampoo is helping to repair and build strength back into my hair. My hair was so soft and smooth following washing it which it never normally is. I would 100% recommend this product

Fab shampoo
The shampoo smells amazing. I only need a small bit for my long hair and it lathered really well. I have curly hair, and the bottle says it is for all hair types. I styled my hair afterwards, and my curls were soft and bouncy. It left my hair feeling healthy and shiny. Would recommend!

Thick shampoo
Strong packaging, beautiful thick shampoo, only disappointment was the smell.... it didn't smell of anything. But it made my hair so soft . What a luxury product

I wouldn’t buy again as it smelt strong of chemical citric acid and made my head itch but it did make my hair feel amazing and the consistency on the shampoo felt really good

Amazing shampoo that smells great
This shampoo smells amazing - it is exactly the smell you can find in one of those nice hair salons. Your hair will smell amazing the whole day! I especially love how good it lathers, leaving my hair feeling all cleaned and refreshed. Love this product - would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Incredible shampoo!
Beautiful shampoo with a rich thick texture, has a very unique scent almost citrus! The application can be long winded as you have to wait serval minutes before washing out however the results are incredibly noticeable just from one use!

Initial Impressions of Kérastase
After a week of using the Kérastase shampoo, conditioner, and pre-shampoo conditioner, my initial impressions are mixed. As someone with only a shower, the 15-minute application time felt a bit lengthy, making it more suitable for those with a bath. The instructions were somewhat unclear, leaving me uncertain about applying the products to my roots initially. However, after trying it on my roots, it seemed to work well. In terms of results, I've noticed my ends are less prone to greasiness, and my hair feels shinier and cleansed. It's too early to gauge the full impact, but I'll continue using the products until I finish the bottles to provide a more comprehensive review.
