Formulated to address signs of ageing, the Kiehl’s Retinol Skin-Renewing Daily Micro-Dose Serum is a hardworking treatment for mature skin types.
In a daily-strength micro-dose, the serum releases a surge of pure retinol to help visibly soften the look of wrinkles. It also seeks to refine texture and firm the skin’s appearance, taking care to resist typical signs of discomfort associated with retinol use.
Infused with peptides and ceramides, the formula works to support cell turnover while strengthening barrier function. This product is suitable for first-time retinol users, helping to promote smooth, youthful-looking skin.
- After cleansing, apply Retinol Skin-Renewing Daily Micro-Dose Serum over the entire face at night time, including the under eye and crow’s feet area, carefully avoiding contact with the eye and eye lid area. Always use an SPF in the daytime.

Those smart people at Kiehl’s have done an amazing job inventing this! I’ve been using this for over a year and you can absolutely tell the difference in my skin. It makes me look brighter .. my lines are less defined and as a result I do look a bit younger. Although it’s a little expensive, this is worth every penny! I can highly recommend and would never be without it! As a tip .. follow this with one of the Kiehl’s moisturisers (I use the Calendula one) and you won’t be disappointed.

I wanted to love this product as I'm a massive fan of their Ultra Rich Facial Cream, but I seem to have very little luck with retinol designed for beginners/sensitive skin. After a few days of use, the skin around my mouth has started to peel, and my entire face is burning/stinging. I'm not even able to apply makeup. I'm now hunting for skincare that can fix my skin barrier.
