Upgraded with SPF30, the face cream lends broad-spectrum defence against harmful UVA and UVB rays. Glacial glycoprotein wards off harsh weather conditions while fountain plant extract helps to improve barrier function.
Suitable for all skin types, the face cream offers up to 24-hour hydration. Its fast-absorbing formula hydrates and softens, promoting fresh, comfortable skin.

Had an almost instant reaction
I have used the other moisturiser in this range and loved it but this one was awful on my skin. It was noticeably dryer in a couple of days and my eyelids were red and swollen. Very sad as I love the other moisturiser without the spf so should have stuck to that one.

Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream SPF30
I usually purchase and use the original version of this facial moisturiser but thought I'd try their SPF30 version to help protect my skin this summer. It's very much alike as the original. Rich, creamy but not too heavy. Has a silky soft feel as it absorbs into the skin. I feel deeply moisturised and have softer more hydrated skin after use.

Allergic to spf version
I love the original version of this cream and decided to try the spf version. It’s much thicker than the original and appears to be perfumed. Felt good going on but my face immediately turned red and itched. Whatever they use for spf or perfume does not agree with my skin unfortunately. I’ll be returning to using the original version followed by my own sunscreen.

Bitter tasting mouth
This product causes a bitter tasting mouth, I believe its the spf in it that causes that, even though I avoided trying to use it near my lips, it caused a bitter tasting mouth each time I put it on my face. Stopped using after 5 days. Will not buy again, prefer the original.

I really hate this cream. I bought it because I love the original ultra cream and I thought this would be great for the daytime as it’s SPF30. However, the original ultra cream isn’t greasy at all whereas this looks like I’ve covered my face in oil and is much thicker and denser. I don’t usually wear make up, but with this cream I have to apply a mattifying powder to stop my face looking like an oil slick. I really don’t recommend this cream at all.
