Don't buy this
My hair is medium blonde so I bought light ash blonde which looked like the closest match. Having followed the directions closely as I always colour my own hair It is awful, my hair is now medium/dark brown. This is the first and last time I will use the product.

Great results
Decided I should review this after all the negative reviews I read before using the Natural Baby Blonde shade 10. My hair is naturally a mid to dark brown but with lots of greys. Until the first lockdown I went to the salon for my colour doing every 6 weeks. The first few times I coloured my own hair I used Garnier Nutrisse, shade 9 Light blonde and I was really happy with the result, it was a bit darker than the salon colour but fine. I also used Nutrisse Ice Blonde which again was fine but very ashy and I preferred the colour after a few washes. So neither gave me the lightness of shade I was seeking but I certainly didn’t have any adverse results ie orange hair as some people seemed to experience with both of the colours. I did a bit of research on the internet and supermarket looking at the colour shades on the hair dye boxes and came across L’Oreal Natural baby blonde and this seemed to be the one that could potentially lighten a dark brown hair the most without having to resort to a bleach. I bought it and read all the bad reviews so I did a strand test first, that was fine but still slightly concerned as you never really know until you’ve done the lot! Anyway the colour is great, no orange roots, all really well blended so really pleased. Some of the darker hair (less grey parts) are obviously more of a warm/golden blonde but they always were after a salon colour. I will definitely use this colour again. I can’t imagine how some people get such poor results. I would definitely recommend.

Makes hair darker
I had light ash blonde hair and used the light ash blonde dye and it has turned my hair with dark bits and ginger roots and my hair was light to start with so all that money I've spent to turn my hair from dark blonde to light and now I'm back were I started fuming isn't the word

Nice to put on- not keen on colour
The product is easy to use - no problems there. But really disappointed with the colour. Competed to the blonde colour on the pack. It’s come out very gingery and much darker than it looks on the package. I was only dark blonde before so not a dramatic change in colour and I left the product in my hair for plenty of time. I now have dark gingery blonde hair which colour which wasn’t what I was after - I just wanted a lighter blonde than I had before.

Good colour, bad smell
I bought this in Hope's to get a darker shade then my natural medium brown hair. It did the trick! I love my new black-Brown hair 😁the only complaint I have is the smell, it honestly was giving me a bit of a headache. If it had a nicer fragrant, I would definitely given a 5.
