Visibly correct imperfections with the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ SPF30; a non-sticky formula that works to reduce the appearance of blemishes and reveal a refined complexion. Ideal for oily and blemish-prone skin types, the correcting formula penetrates and clears blocked pores in order to visibly reduce blackheads and other impurities.
When exposed to daily UV, imperfections often worsen and can lead to unwanted hyperpigmentation. Effaclar Duo+ boasts SPF30, which shields skin from damaging rays, protects against free radicals and prevents the appearance of hyperpigmentation.
The potent gel-cream formula is enriched with Niacinamide, which works to purify the visage, whilst a LHA solution performs an exfoliation action. Also infused with Salicylic Acid, the refreshing facial treatment seeks to repair damaged skin cells. Expect imperfections to significantly reduce in appearance, leaving behind a refined visage that is free from shine.
Free from parabens.
Apply to whole face morning after cleansing skin with EFFACLAR Foaming gel. Avoid the eye contour.

Sticky and pilling
I'll start off by saying I am a huge la roche posay fan. I've used the effaclar duo for years. However not the SPF version. Really disappointed it's leaving my skin sticky and it's also pilling on my skin even when used on its own. Do not recommend.

I would not recommend this moisturizer to anyone: doesn’t spread well on the skin, doesn’t moisturize my pretty oily skin, starts pilling almost immediately, pills like crazy when you try to put foundation on top, makes my foundation oxidise so I end up looking like an oompa loompa, accentuate pores terribly. I’m not sure if I’ve ever a moisturizer as bad as this! Never again!

Holy grail for acne
I never leave review but this stuff has honestly saved my mental health - I was struggling with cystic acne and very oily skin from coming off the contraceptive pill and I decided to purchase this and the sensitive fluid moisturiser on a whim at the start of January, in 10 days I saw a huge improvement (no exaggeration!!). Fast forward to today and I have just 1 active spot and just a couple of scars. Even when I get spots now they don’t stick around for half as long as what they used to. Ill never stop using this stuff!
