Experience a deep and thorough cleanse with the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Clay Mask; a purifying formula that glides onto the face and is able to visibly unclog pores within just five minutes. The mask is suitable for all skin types but is ideal for those with oily and acne-prone skin.
The rich face mask is infused with Argilla and Kaolin, which work in synergy to absorb excess sebum from skin, without stripping essential moisture from the complexion. The purifying formula targets the sebum deep inside skin, which helps to mattify the visage and leave the face shine free. Helpign to calm skin post-sebum extraction, the face mask also utilises a generous dose of 5% Panthenol B5 to deliver a soothing sensation.
Not only removing excess oil, the mask is complete with an array of Cellubeads™, which perform expert cleansing action to eliminate impurities and prevent the appearance of blackheads. Rinsing away after five minutes work, the Effaclar Clay Mask reveals a purified complexion that is clean, clear and comfortable.
- Use after cleansing your face with Effaclar Gel Cleanser in the evening.
- Apply a thin layer of the Effaclar Purifying Clay Mask to your face and leave it to dry for 5 minutes.
- Then wipe off gently with La Roche-Posay Effaclar astringent lotion or alternatively remove with cold water and a towel.
- Once the mask is removed apply a pea sized amount of La Roche-Posay Effaclar DUO [+] in a circular motion to the face.

No fuss cleanser.
Very nice facewash. I recommend this to most clients young and old who need a deep clean without stripping or irritating the skin. Good for normal to oily, sensitive and acne prone skin types. Foams up nicely without SLS, the HA and ceramides prevent dryness and keep skin hydrated. This is a nice wash to use whilst on acne medication/topical treatments for those with problem skin and the sensitivity which comes alongside medications. Deep cleans without stripping the skin, no tight skin after use. Good all rounder, no need to spend loads on cleansers. Dermatologist favourite!

Good starting point for sensitive oily/acne prone skin
This is a very gentle mask. It has minimal ingredients but the clay will be good for those with combo/oily and acne prone skin who are on the sensitive side. It says to leave on for 5 mins but I see no problem using for 10. People with stubborn acne will need something stronger for real results but it is a good addition for those already using acne products/medications (as long as you're not flakey or very dehydrated). Overall this is a good product for those new to masks and those just starting to use skincare to treat acne/breakouts. Would be good for young skin/teens.

Good mask
I've only used past 2 weeks but so far I feel it's a good product. I have combination skin, and after first time I used it, I did get a few spots so imagine that's because it unclogs pores. Only use it for 10 min max on your face as it can be drying. I like how it's white rather than dark like other masks that make a mess of your bathroom and I like that it doesn't have a smell. It's a good mask for the price, but there's prob better out there if you're wanting something a little more luxurious.

Great for oily skins
I have mixte to oily skin and this mask is really nice. It doesn't have an effect too "plaster" on the skin it is enjoyable and fresh. It also left a very soft skin after and reduce the appearance of spots. I appreciate the products from Laroche Posey in general and wanted to try this mask and I'm not disappointed. I recommend!

I have very oily and acne prone skin so I struggled to find a clay mask that doesn't cause a massive break out the day after! This one doesn't cause any new spots to appear at all, the next day my current spots look reduced and less inflamed. It also gives my skin a very soft feel. It does control shine on my chin and cheeks, but only reduces it a little on my T zone. Most importantly it doesn't cause any break outs which is amazing! I use it once to twice per week but if I have an event the next day I use it the night before to reduce the redness. Great product, would buy again!

Alright for Combo Skin
I had expected the mask to be more clarifying since it is a clay mask. However, upon using it, even though it doesn't dry out my skin, it doesn't seem to dry up the acne I have either, which means I need something stronger. I have combination and sensitive skin and this didn't tingle or burn on me. It did feel nice, just doesn't seem to do the job of decreasing the size of my acne.
