Emphasize your eyes with Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara, a volumising formula that wraps each lash in jet-black pigment and delivers a fuller-looking effect. Enriched with lash-caring ingredients including beeswax, panthenol and natural thickener carnauba wax, the buildable mascara strengthens, boosts shine and ensures smooth application. Equipped with a straight wand with multi-length bristles that separates and capture each hair for maximum volume and a non-clumping finish.
Place brush at the root of your lashes and gently comb from the root to the tip with a zigzag motion.

Drama and no clumpiness
One of my favourite mascaras especially when coupled with the Lancôme primer! Really dramatic and really black lashes yet no clumpiness or smudging - don’t judge me but even when I forget to take it off, I don’t wake to with panda eyes :D

Not hypo allergenic
I brough this as I read it was good for sensitive eyes. This mascara still makes my eyes water on use, so sadly it didnt work for me. I also found it gets all over my top eyelid when applying, so I'm not that keen on the formula.

Panda eyes, sadly…
I’m a fan of the original hypnose mascara and have used it for years, so when I saw this even blacker version I thought it would be even better. It coats the lashes evenly and although it’s called absolu noir, I haven’t noticed it being much blacker than the original. However, what has frustrated me is that it migrates within an hour or so under my bottom lashes leaving a dark caste. The original never did that. On the plus side it removes very, very easily with my usual remover and seems to disperse very differently, I notice, on the bottom pad, so the ingredients are very different from the original. I will be going back to the original.
