It’s good...

I ordered a light shade -beige 01, as I have a 00 shade in the teint miracle which is a little too light for me, so thought this would be better. Straight out the bottle, it looked perfect, but within seconds on the back of my hand, it oxidised to at least two shades darker. This is the reason I have deducted a star. I made it work for me with a paler concealer, strategically placed. This is one of those foundations that seems to improve the longer it is on your skin. It never broke up and continued to look smooth all day. It was a little drying under the eyes, so it’s best to either well moisturise there or not take it up as much (which I will do, next time I use this and use a concealer under the try only) I had well moisturised skin when I applied this and I didn’t use a primer, when I normally would. I have dry skin and it was fine, though I may use a glowy primer the next time. I applied mine with a beauty blender and dotted onto my face first, however, you do need to work quickly with this as it sets fast. Next time I will apply as I go. I liked the finish, so am really pleased with it overall.

I have just finished my first bottle which I have had for about 6 months- just ordered my second I am a 0.48 I am asian but fair skinned and this color is perfect it does not look orange whereas others can make me really orange! I have yellow undertones and this color is perfect. Nice and light on the skin, not greasy and has SP15 protection, a little bit goes a long way! by far the best foundation I have ever used and I have used many from MAC to Chanel...

the best

The best foundation that I have ever used and I have used a lot but I always seems to be coming back to that one. it offers really good coverage without being too heavy, does not stick to dry skin. my skin is combination so I get oily in the t zone but this foundation dies not get too oily. also it stays on my face for all day without need to re do it.

My new favourite

Love this foundation! Light weight, buildable so you can get the desired coverage you want. I can even mix it with a moisteriser or liquid highlighter and it creates the most lovely dewy finish as well. Cream and powder contours work great with this foundation as well, leaving it looking seamless and blended! There is not enough good things I can say about this foundation, shade selection is wonderful too, I'm incredibly yellow toned so finding a shade was always difficult until I came across this product. I'd suggest getting a shade match first and trying out a sample product before purchasing the full sized bottle though.

This is honestly the best foundation I've ever tried. I'm 011 and it's the perfect shade. No creasing, no cakiness and best of all it stays perfect all day. I have oily skin and by 11am with other foundation it's worn off in places, but not this. Because it's so expensive I don't wear it daily, I save it for special occasions when I won't have to worry about topping up my foundation. But I will always be repurchasing this.

Best foundation I've used

The thing that sold me with this is the shades. I'm very pale and find it incredibly hard, almost impossible to find a foundation that doesn't make my face look like a satsuma. The finish is lovely, not too matte but great for a full day in a stuffy office. Try it out!

Love this foundation and have used lancome foundations as a priority for some 10 years. I'm maturing- just past 50 but most people think I'm seriously latest 30s to 40s, and this foundation gives great mat finish that covers blemishes and evens my skin tine. i apply in key areas and skim the rest. Great colour in preference to other ranges too- not too grey or too orange. I use it every day, and even barely need to touch it up after swimming too!!

Your skin, but better

This is one of those your-skin-but-better kind of products. It is really lightweight, doesn't feel like you're wearing makeup. It gives really natural matte finish. I think this is something for normal to combination skin. Wouldn't recommend it for very dry skin. The color selection is not that great. I have color 005, I think it is second lightest shade but it definitely doesn't suit very fair skin as it is still pretty dark for a light shade. For me it is not a 24H wear foundation. I have a combination skin and after about 8 hours it looks quite oily around my T-zone. Also it claims to be transfer free but when I touch my face, it still transfers, especially around my nose. it has Lancome signature rose scent, which can be a little bit too much but I've got used to it. Wouldn't repurchase it as it didn't really impress me.
