Perfecting and protecting, the Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Protecting Primer is formulated to extend the life of your makeup looks and keep your skin looking radiant. Containing SPF 30, the primer shields against the sun’s rays without leaving behind a white or chalky residue. Lightweight, the base offers full invisible coverage without clogging pores, defending against environmental aggressors as well as UVA/UVB. Vitamins E and C nourish your skin with regular use, leaving it looking healthier with a brighter glow.
Paraben, sulphate and fragrance-free.
Apply after skincare. Gently massage a dime-sized amount onto skin with fingertips. Follow with Tinted Moisturiser or Foundation.

Prevents well from the dark spots.
First spring sunrays usually causes enormous dark spots on my face (including arround the eyes), that fades away only late fall. This primer works really well against it. As I am using Institut Esthederm C vitamin cream that bleaches all the remnants of dark spots, this primer below the foundation (regardless of SPF there) really does the job and prevents from spot creation. Also it is very moisturizing and the foundation will only blend better with skin. Worth to try out

I have yet to use this particular primer but I have used the blue one. I have sensitive screen that dries out easily and is spot prone, Laura Mercier products do not exacerbate these issues and definitely hide my pores!

It gives beautiful glow, it is also feels light, not like a sunscreen at all. I even wear it alone during hot days. The only downside is that it contains infamous oxybenzone. Without that, it would be perfect!
