The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder puts an illuminating twist on traditional setting powders. Aside from keeping your makeup set for 16 hours, the powder uses pearl pigments to grace the skin with a naturally radiant look. Enriched with vitamins C and E, the powder adds a touch of sheer coverage to promote a seamless matte finish.
The lightweight formula features a soft and silky texture, allowing it to subtly blur the appearance of imperfections without adding weight or looking cakey. Lasting finish without cake face!
I’ve just purchased a full size powder after using a mini travel size for the last 10 months. I’ve had dry skin throughout my adult life so always avoided setting powders for fear of dry cakey make up. However, when I found my foundation continually sliding around and creasing around my eyes and mouth as I got past 35, I have powder a try. I tried a few sample sizes of the most talked about products and this stood out. I don’t bake, but I do apply it all over my face lightly on a big fluffy brush, before using a setting spray to mix it with my cream and liquid base products. This seems to completely remove the *appearance* of powder from my face whilst still locking in my makeup all day. And I work long days in healthcare, so there’s little to no touch up opportunities! If you’re looking for a product to keep your face in place all day, and you have some cash to spend, I’d recommend this one!
