The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder puts an illuminating twist on traditional setting powders. Aside from keeping your makeup set for 16 hours, the powder uses pearl pigments to grace the skin with a naturally radiant look. Soaks up oil and doesn’t sit on lines.
I love this, o have just converted from Bare Minerals powder which as I’m getting older, it’s sitting on the lines on my forehead making them more pronounced. So I took a gamble and tried this! I’m amazed, it not only doesn’t sit on my lines, it seems to blur them out making my skin tone more even. It also keeps the oil at bay when used with water Lauder double wear.

Love this setting powder, was skeptical about trying it since hearing a lot of mixed reviews, I have dry combination skin with a very oily nose & chin this sets my makeup in place and it does not budge, it settles into my skin so well, mattifies without looking dry or cakey. Drying and disappointing
I have naturally dry skin and I found this cream very disappointing. I didn’t like it’s consistency which reminds me of the dream Matt mouse foundation (which was terrible in the 00’s!). The colouring (medium) is a nice shade and it does provide nice light coverage. It looks okay on if you don’t look too close at your skin however looks very dry and cracked close up- I have mixed it with an illuminating/glow balm which helps a little but for the price and aim of product don’t think this should be required. I would not buy again .

Setting powder
The best I've used until now. It's best for under the eyes. No crease. Or for static lines on the forehead which makes the foundation not stay in the lines if a person has any. It's perfect to make the foundation last long. It doesn't let's foundation crack and so I find it amazing to use it actually on the whole face and neck than just on certain parts of the face. It's also good to create a snatchy nose I love this product
