The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder puts an illuminating twist on traditional setting powders. Aside from keeping your makeup set for 16 hours, the powder uses pearl pigments to grace the skin with a naturally radiant look. Enriched with vitamins C and E, the powder adds a touch of sheer coverage to promote a seamless matte finish.
The lightweight formula features a soft and silky texture, allowing it to subtly blur the appearance of imperfections without adding weight or looking cakey. I love this! I was recommended it by a friend and I definitely needed to invest in some sort of baking/setting powder to secure my makeup as my skin is very very oily. I used this as soon as it arrived and I am so so impressed! I am not lying when I said I didn’t have to reapply any of my makeup throughout the day or top up on any powder! I decided to treat myself to this after reading lots of positive reviews and it is lovely. It's not cakey but didn't sit well with a matte foundation, but you can't have everything! Not sure how long it lasts yet but I'm pleased with it so far, so lightweight yet mattifies your face really well without feeling talcy.
