The Living Proof Clarifying Detox Shampoo delivers a deep cleanse, seeking to remove all build-up and impurities.
Gentle yet detoxing, the shampoo works to clarify the hair without stripping strands of natural moisture. Activated charcoal helps to absorb excess oil, while a naturally derived chelating agent minimises heavy metal build-up caused by hard water. A surfactant blend enhances the shampoo to sweep away oxidative stress caused by pollution.
Use weekly in place of your regular shampoo. Apply to wet hair. Lather. Wait one to two minutes then rinse. Follow with a conditioner or mask.

So disappointed
After using the dry shampoo for a while and seeing the good reviews I decided to give this shampoo a go. As I use the dry shampoo regularly I thought this would be good to detox my hair and give it a good clean. It arrived yesterday and I washed my hair that night…. My hair feels dirtier than pre washing. Its left my hair lank and greasy and certainly left more residue then it’s taken away. I made sure to give my hair a good rinse too. Very disappointing as it’s not a cheap shampoo.

I have tried so many clarifying shampoos due to having fine hair. Product really weighs my hair down quickly so I need a regular deep clean that removes build up. Many others seem to completely strip the hair down and I feel like they leave the hair almost fragile afterwards. THIS is the perfect balance. Still ultra cleaning, creating a squeaky clean finish but doesn’t leave hair feeling stripped and fragile. I’ve tried pretty much every clarifying shampoo out there and didn’t hold out much hope for this one but was so wrong! Left my hair feeling the cleanest it’s felt in a long time without feeling too stripping or that ‘squeaky’ feel you sometimes get with clarifying shampoo. I use this first once a week then follow up a second cleanse with my normal shampoo and it worked really well. A new weekly staple in my hair care routine.

This is a good clarifying shampoo
I usually alternate between Ouai and Olaplex when I clarify but I thought that I'd give this a try. I have curls so I use a few styling products during the week and my hair is always grateful for being clarified. This lathers well and you do not need to use much. My hair felt exceptionally clean afterwards and not as dry as it does after using Ouai and Olaplex. I will definitely buy this again.
