Wouldn’t recommend
I’ve tried a few cleansing balms and this one is not at the top of my list! Takes a long time to remove waterproof makeup compared with other brands. If it gets in your eyes it really stings! I’ve never had this before and it’s ridiculous as it’s designed to take off eye make-up. The formula should be eye safe/friendly. For the price of this - I won’t be buying again. You’re paying mainly for the brand/ packaging!

Superskin Cleansing Balm
I love trying new cleansing balms (some of my favourite being Elemis & Emma Hardie) and was excited to see how I found this one. Firstly A* for the beautiful glass packaging, it’s incredibly luxurious and feels like a real treat to receive. I also love the Liz Earle cleansing cloth that comes with it, very thick and soft. The balm itself smells amazing and it felt nice on my skin. I had no issues with irritation which is great. Unfortunately I found it didn’t perform as well as other balms when it came to removing makeup. I had to go in first with makeup remover. So ideal if you just want a balm but you’ll probably need a backup for heavy makeup removal.

Lovely oil based makeup remover
I don’t use this daily but love it as an oily balm to cleanse and over all my makeup without having to rub my eyes. Leaves my skin feeling soft. Will buy again!

Lighter texture than Elemis but works just as well
I use this balm as part of a two stage cleanse. Not as thick as Elemis but does remove makeup. If you are wearing heavier makeup I’d recommend the Elemis first followed by this. But if on a lighter make up day this works a treat

Great cleanser
Great as a pre-cleanse. Removes stubborn eye make-up. Doesn’t leave skin dry and tight. 20% off was an added benefit.

Liz Earle cleansing balm
I love this. I changed from Elemis after it became too expensive to keep buying. This one is a great alternative. Really gentle on the skin.
