I really wasn’t sure I’d rate this because I read other reviews and they were a little mixed. I wanted something light and fresh for normal days when I don’t want to wear make up but do want to feel good. My skin is good, I dont really have any scarring or wrinkles I’m very blessed but I do have a couple of darker spots and it’s certainly not airbrush even all over! I have used Dr Jarts Cicapair for several years and this is great but I does feel quite heavy still and I wanted something fresher. I’ve become a recent fan of Lumene and wanted to try this - the drops were not in stock(or available) in light so I went for the cream. I am 46 with fair hair going white and fair complexion (not the very fairest on the complexion scale but not dark or tanned!) and this light shade looks tailor made! It seems to chameleon blend onto the skin. The result is sheer and light and fresh - enough of a tint to make me feel dewy fresh and pretty but give a nice lift without looking like I’m wearing any make up at all. I popped a little benetint flora on my cheeks and lips and a light brush of mascara and my partner thought I looked lovely. I will absolutely use this all the time and buy again! If you want a nice natural finish that’s more of a moisturiser this is the one!

Surprisingly good
It was on my wishlist forever before I finally decided to buy it and it turned out to be better than expected. I was looking for a tinted moisturised that is more skincare than skin tint/make up, to wear when working from home and although this is not jam-packed with skincare goodies like its Korean counterparts, it is lovely. Not heavy but hydrating, smells amazing, colour (lightest shade still seemed dark in the pot) adapts to my pale skin and gives a very light cover, enough for me to feel more put together. It's not as bee's knees as my favourite Chanel water tint, but Lumene is more a moisturiser and designed to fulfill a different function. The shade range is rather criminal and if your skin is peeling after some hefty retinoid, this will still accentuate these patches, but I'm pleased overall.

Not as good as I thought it would be!
Firstly the light shade is VERY light on the skin so doesn’t bring any colour or brightness to my skin which I expected from a tinted moisturiser. It does feel a nice consistency (hydrating) however for the price I don’t feel you get enough value. Size is pretty small, and doesn’t look any different to my non-tinted moisturiser. Wouldn’t purchase again sadly!

I have combination skin (oily/dehydrated) but this tinted cream is big disappointment. Rather than moisturizing it actually makes my skin even dryer. I gave two stars for the smell only as it does have a nice smell but nothing apart from that.
