First Mac lipstick and I’m in love
I was surprised at the colour as it’s deeper than it looks in these pics but it’s lovely (luckily!) also surprising it’s a Matt type lippy. I didn’t get that from the description even on the Mac website but it’s really nice and it says for much longer than other cheaper lipsticks I’ve used. I’ve got my eye on a pink full sized lipstick I will treat myself to soon.

I have the shade Russian Red, and my best friend got Velvet Teddy as a present and they're amazing. The packaging is cute;tiny but there's just enough product. The formula is great as well;usually,I'm not okay with matte lipsticks as they dry out my lips even more,but this one has a velvety texture and it doesn't dry down completely,it is comfortable to wear. It also fades evenly throughout the day. I think it's definitely worth it if you don't wanna go for the original size because of its price.

Buying lipsticks on the internet is always a risky business, but I always do a through google image search to see what the shades look like on different skin tones and in different lighting, and that way I tend to end up with something I like generally, however, this lipstick was a lot darker than the images I had seen. Apart from that the finish was not as matte as I had thought it would be, whilst somehow feeling very drying on the lips. Overall I expected a lot more from a lipstick that a lot of people rave about.
