Ideal for use on bare skin as a primer, or after makeup application as a setting spray, the soothing mist combines oil-absorbing powders and agents to help extend the wear of makeup, whilst promoting a rebalanced and refined appearance with minimised pores.

Shake very well before use to allow powder ingredients to be evenly distributed.
With eyes and mouth completely closed, mist face evenly while holding bottle 10-12 inches away from face.
Reapply as needed to mattify or reset makeup.
Spray before makeup to create a smooth and matte surface.
Spray over makeup to set.

Amazing!

Bought this after trying 2 different powders from Mac and wasn’t happy as it just caked my foundation in a few places and I’m so happy I tried it! It really sets my make up without it looking powdery and thick. I’ll never use a setting powder again. (Iv tried a few different setting sprays may I add too and nothing compares) - I have combination skin.

Brilliant product

Don’t let the reviews about white spots put you off. I have dark brown skin and have had absolutely no issue so far with this product. A good shake, spray and go! I would recommend using the spray before you apply make up as well as after. Or a mattifyiibg primer before to ensure keeping the shine away

Always satisfied with any MAC setting spray, the bottle is lightweight and perfect to fit into a bag on a night out if needed. Really can't tell it's on but keeps makeup in place and feels refreshing.

Absolutely brilliant!

I sometimes suffer from oils breaking down my foundation but this completely stops that issue in its tracks. Doesn't feel sticky on the skin and leaves a lovely base. Highly recommend, I will be using it for my wedding. But remember to shake it first!

White spots left on face (would not recommend)

I accidentally bought this instead of the normal one, my fault for not paying attention but I thought id give it a go, I looked it up on the site first before using it as id never seen this one before and as I said I didn't mean to add that one to the basket, I noticed people saying it doesn't leave marks if it is shaken well, so I shook it before using it as others said and held it from a decent distance away and white spots still appeared on my face once the product had dried, ruined my makeup completely! I would recommend sticking to the original one or one that doesn't have the white misty water that leaves these marks, it does mattify the face but that's no good when it's left the makeup looking a mess with spots.
