Enhance and even your skin tone with the Prep + Prime Skin from MAC. A lightweight, gel designed to be applied under makeup, the primer helps to even out redness in the skin whilst adding radiance. Formulated with sucrose, green tea extract and caffeine to help soothe the skin; nourishing antioxidants and mulberry and algae extracts for an even skin tone. Skin texture is visibly improved to enhance the application of foundation or powder.

Not 100% convinced but a good product
I’ve used this now for about a week. It glides on really nicely. You don’t have to use a lot and I was really surprised how sparkly it is. I was a bit worried I was going to look like a glitter ball but it calms down with the foundation over the top just to give you a nice glow. I use a bb cream rather than a foundation so I don’t use anything that usually ‘melts’ anyway so maybe I’m not the best test....I had some red spots and dry patches and I didn’t feel this balanced out any red as it claims to do. It also says it visibly improves skin tone; I can’t say I agree with that. My skin feels smoother and softer afterwards but it’s not a visible change. As I say it feels nice but I’m not sure it changes the wear of my bb cream but it does give my skin a nice glow.

First time user of this primer. I was a little skeptical, and thought the price was a bit high but treated myself and delighted with the result. I use no 7 foundation so it's not to thick and I find this primer makes the foundation glide on easier so I use less which is good. It gives a nice silky feel and look with or without make up and you only need to apply the smallest amount. I also suffer from rosecea and alot of products cause flair ups. This product slightly masks the red patches and doesn't react with my skin. Excellent product definitely now a staple in my make up routine.
