Ideal for brunettes that lighten their locks, the Matrix Total Results Brass Off Shampoo instantly refreshes and cleanses hair, whilst neutralising brassy tones.
Harnessing the power of colour-depositing blue-violet pigments, the shampoo effortlessly lathers over locks, visibly neutralising and reducing brassy tones. The hair-strengthening formula can be used as a regular shampoo, or left on hair for up to three minutes for added toning action.
Daily dirt and impurities are rinsed away, leaving locks cool, cleansed and neutralised.
Start using 2-3 weeks after your colour service. Use the shampoo a few times a week and alternative with Colour Obsessed shampoo and conditioner. Apply to wet hair, lather and rinse well.
Tip: Leave on 3-5 minutes before rinsing and follow with Brass Off conditioner.

Great for highlighted hair
Used this instead of purple shampoo as I find purple shampoo leaves more of a tinted residue on some parts of my blonde highlights on brunette hair. This blue one is intended for brunettes so removes brassy tones without leaving residue

I'm 37 and haven't dyed my hair in 7 years due to swimming. In the past you name it, I've had the colour, highlights, lowlights the lot. At one point I had a red shade and still all these years later it still left my hair with a red/orange tinge. I also had some grey/yellow/greenish streaks from chlorine damage. I'm a natural brunette with long thick hair and was fed up of the light colours at the ends so instead of dying my hair, I decided to try this shampoo. I can honestly say it's a game changer! My hair is shining, its soft and looks great as it's banished the warm undertones. I will continue to use this as part of my haircare routine. I did wear gloves when applying it as some reviews said it stained their hands. Easy to rinse the bath with no staining. I would recommend using an old towel, just because it may stain. I've put the towel I used in the wash, so I'll know if it's stained shortly.

Consistency is the key
This is my second purchase because I haven't found anything similar for brunettes and I know this does something - if it's used consistently, it helps rid of brassiness. Also, it lasts a while because a little goes a long way.

This shampoo slightened the blonde in my balayage, didn't remove the reddish tint in my hair like I thought it would, so may need to try the green one. But all in all not a bad shampoo and didn't dry my hair out like some blue/purple shampoos do
