I purchased this at the same time as buying the Food for Soft Matrix trio, for my hair type (fine hair but a lot of it) my frizz felt more controlled using just the Food for Soft oil. The smell is ok. The product definitely feels lightweight. I'm not sure how long one bottle would last for a thick head of hair to achieve a good amount of coverage.
