Step 1: After cleansing in the evening, apply 2 pumps of Crystal Retinal to the face and neck. Allow to absorb then follow with a moisturiser.
Step 2: For new users of Crystal Retinal, phase application in gradually. Use twice a week for the first 2 weeks, every other night for the next 2 weeks, then every night. You should always use a sunscreen the next morning after using vitamin A.

Superb product - best higher grade retinal product out there
As suggested, I worked my way up to grade 10 by using a tube of 6 first (I was already using retinol/retinal so skipped the 3) and I can now use every evening but tend to swap in a glycolic acid product on two nights out of seven. I have combination skin, am in my late 40s, have been using this product for about two years and this has had a real impact on my complexion and fine lines. Definitely recommend.

I had read such good reviews of this, so my expectations were very high. After a few months of use I can categorically say that it has made no difference at all to my skin. I use it for anti-ageing purposes as well as to prevent acne, and it has failed on both points. Lines on my forehead are pronounced as ever, and I have had multiple breakouts which hasn’t happened when using a previous retinol. Worse still- it leaves a yellow stain on my pillowcase, as the serum is a bright orange colour- horrific! For the price, it is completely not worth it. I will go back to prescription retinols that are half the price and much more potent than this. I wanted to give it a go due to the hype surrounding this brand, but definitely will not be repurchasing. If you’re a seasoned retinol user like me, it’s one to avoid.

Retinoids take a long time to see results-not this one. In two weeks you will see that your Skin is more glowy. But just like with tretinoin the Skin can peel a little,i recommend to use a good hydratating after this.

Took the plunge
I have previously used Dermatica Adapalene which is a very strong retinol for Acne but now my skin has cleared up I've decided to move to a more anti aging formula. Started off with 1 (didn't realise how subtle it was) and have since moved straight to the number 10 which I can feel is a little stronger. It's caused some very mild peeling on my nose as I was using it everyday from day 1. It's a nice product and is keeping my skin clear whilst hopefully doing it's thing to prevent premature ageing. I'm not sure if I'll continue to purchase this brand as I think I'm too used to a prescription strength for these to provide as good results but I'll wait until I've finished 10 to fully decide. I think my skin is more prepared for Tret than I thought so I may move onto that. I do think these retinals are brilliant for new users and I have my friend using them now who loves it. She's gone from 1 and is now on 6 and enjoying the results.
